On 3rd August 2013, Cambridge and Oxford students past and present met up for a dinner organised by the Cambridge Alumni Network, in associated with the Oxford and Cambridge Society of Malaysia, and kindly hosted by Elizabeth Lee.
After the debate in the morning, which saw the Cambridge team (in government) narrowly beating the Oxonians on the motion “This house would make university education free”, spirits were running high. Animated conversations and the aroma of the roast filled the air.
The dinner also served as the launch of the Oxbridge Mentorship Program and the Cambridge Alumni Network website (the one you’re on right now!).
We’re extremely grateful to the Oxford and Cambridge Society of Malaysia for helping us mobilise the network of Malaysian Oxbridge alumni, and to Elizabeth Lee for welcoming us to her beautiful residence for this event. Above all, we want to thank the alumni who attended the event and making it such a success.
